Nokia Lumia 635 is a smart edition to the remarkable Lumia series from Nokia. It is 10 months old set and was launched in April 2014. It was available in the June 2014, 2 months after its original announcement. Lumia 635 works on GSM and LTE network technology. it’s a mildly sleek set with a moderate dimensions of 129.5 x 66.7 x 9.2 mm, 78.5 cc (5.10 x 2.63 x 0.36 in). The weight is slightly less than other contemporaries though. A mobile set having a weight of 134 grams is considered to be a smart and light set, which is overall as good thing. Nokia Lumia 635 is one of those Lumia additions which allow a dual SIM. The display properties are as per certain Nokia brand standards. Nokia doesn’t compromise on its brand quality. A display touch screen of 16 million colors, with an IPS LCD capacitive feature is simply classical. The screen size is pretty reasonable. It can be compared with Huawei’s and Q Mobiles 4.5 screen mobiles easily. The screen resolution of this mobile is 480 x 854 pixels and the pixel density ~221 ppi. These are less for mobiles of this price range. Pixel density of this value can also come into mobiles of much less caliber. Although we have multi touch in Lumia 635 along with a corning gorilla glass coating. The display comes out shined up due to this.
As a legacy, Nokia again uses its own usual platform, the Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1. The all time favorite chipset, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 is installed with a dashing fast CPU of Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7. These specs line up this phone amongst the quicker ones in the market, in this price range. An external memory card of 128 GB and an internal memory of 8 GB provide it ample space for the users to save their goodies. Nokia is known for its Carl Zeus Lens. This mobile has a primary camera of 5 mega pixels, having 2592 х 1944 pixels and an additional autofocus feature. The very shocking thing about this set is that it does not have a front camera. It means there are no ‘selfies’, no Skype calls etc. Isn’t that sad news for Nokia lovers? The sound plays its part as always. Speakers are powers and branded. The communication features are as per the normal mobile phone. Specifically speaking a Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth, Radio and a usual USB port is embedded inside. In the sensor category only the accelerometer sensor is present. There is no Java application installed. The battery is 1830 mAh and gives a standby time of up to 648 hours. This is one of the few mix happy features for the Lumia 635. It’s available in many colors, namely, bright orange, bright green, bright yellow, white and black. But the question to answer is that can these mini facilitations such as good color options, sound and the windows platform compensate the missing secondary camera? There are mixed reviews with respect to this.
