Samsung Galaxy Note 2 acted as an ice breaker for many Smartphone manufacturers in terms of tremendous specifications, gigantic body and screen size. The Note 2 is a super-charged version of the galaxy S3 and it gives a pleasant yet powerful experience to its users.

capacitive touch screen which has about 16M colors to support a bigger, 720 x 1280 5.5 inches display, which it carries perfectly.

The pixel density of the Galaxy Note 2 is 267 ppi, which suggests that it gives wider viewing angles, great color saturation and accurate contrast ratios. The display is also a plus for this gigantic Smartphone, since it provides great user experience.

Now moving closer to the specifications that runs the Galaxy Note 2, it has a lot to show off. It runs an Android OS with a version of 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean) which is also upgradable to 4.4.2 (KitKat) and a planned upgrade to 5.0 (Lollipop).

Hence it supports an up to date OS which for some users might be a reason to not change their phones. However, it has a slight influence of Samsung’s Touchwiz, which some users do not prefer as they tend to use stock android. Apart from this, the Galaxy Note 2 has an exynos 4412 quad chipset that ensures its performance with a CPU Of 1.6 GHz cortex-A9.

This makes it a fast machine and powerful enough to do day to day as well as makes the multitasking features easier. As the Galaxy Note 2 followed the trend, it would not be oblivious to ask about its camera. It has a rear camera of 8 mega pixel with a ratio of 3264 x 2448.

It supports autofocus as well as LED flash. One of the other plus features it has is a simultaneous HD video and image recording which is not present in most of the smart phones yet. The video can record up to 30 frames per second which is seriously not bad.

Apart from this the front facing camera is a 1.9 megapixel that aims to provide better video calling and taking lifelike pictures. Apart from the major details in software, the Galaxy Note 2 also supports a stylus or the S Pen that everybody and Samsung likes to call it.

The S Pen is a gateway to many other Note applications as well, which is pretty cool. Samsung’s Galaxy Note 2 has a lot more to give than just being a Smartphone. It is one of the best available phones in the market.
